So, inside a tiny old-time venue, a maximum of twenty customers can sit. You will enjoy excellent home cooking, the result of the Innkeeper's daily purchases. All very simple but also very good. The offer of bottled wines, all local, is more than sufficient. Their loose ones are also excellent. Simple, friendly and effective service. It is a very successful place, book well in advance.

I have been going to "Il Vicolo" for 20 years and it has been one of my "go to" places for that long. Pompeo does a great job at keeping the menu high end enough to keep it interesting and down to earth enough to where you can eat here every day and be totally satisfied and know you had an amazing experience. Love this place!!!

Visited this wonderful gem while on a wine tour this summer. It couldn't get more authentic! Great atmosphere and wonderful food.

Wow, what a find. Hidden away in the heart of the centro storico down a little alley. The food was amazing, we had no less than seven anti pasti tasters and three dessert tasters. Lovely food, service and atmosphere. I would heartily recommend this to anyone visiting.

We were invited by our cousins that live in Rome to this amazing restaurant, we had no expectation. Well there is no works to describe how good the food is, the taste is very very but very good, the presentation is exquisite and the attention is even better. All the appetizers, the pasta, the meats and desert were delicious. If you are in the area make sure to reserve a table and have dinner in this Osteria and be prepare to eat (a lot).
